missing keyboard shortcut for View/Sort by
Capture One 7 seems to be missing a keyboard shortcut option that was available in 6. I cannot find a way to make a keyboard shortcut that allows me to sort images by rating for instance. This is an important function for me and I hope it will be added again soon.

Mine are gone also .. and i can not find where to re program the shortcuts for that.
Pretty annoying... apart from the constant crashes.
I do not know why we have to have a drawback every new release??0 -

Both a bug and a design oversight.
The New Filtering options were meant to take the place of the "Sort" option, as it was thought to be a more robust workflow. However the oversight was in regard to their use with "Keyboard Shortcuts". These will be reintroduced but at present are not available and I am embarrassed to say will not be in the service release. 🤭0 -

Sure, create a support case requesting this and we'll forward it the Test department. We have hundreds of Beta testers at the moment so unless something stands out about your Hardware or Workflow I can't say for sure if they will need to add you to our list but we can sure try.0 -
From what i can see you should require some better beta tester ...
Nobody i know and i am in contact with a lot digital techs, photographers, assistants is even remotely happy with Capture 1 Pro 7
So what ever these beta tester are doing - they don´t do what every other professional photographer is doing.0 -

Maybe dear Drew you should consider how much Users who pay for an upgrade are offended just to receive a really crappy working beta version of a maybe in the future good working upgrade.
For now - i only can say.. A) you have beta tester that do not really use the software or B) you do not listen. Capture 1 Pro 7 is not usable at all.
And to be back on topic - why are the shortcuts and even the possibility to program shortcuts to sort after rating/color tag, name etc gone ???0 -
It works fine for me. I'm not a beta tester. I didn't purchase the upgrade until I had tested the 30 day free trial to death. Chumps will be chumps. 0 -

Perhaps, dear Daniel you would like to be one of our beta testers. As previously suggested you are welcome to create a support case and formally request being put on our list. As there is no support case from you requesting this I would suggest you look into creating one.
I apologize if you feel we do not listen but I can assure you that our attention is clearly focused and our support department is hard at work trying to help customers such as yourself. I don't believe our software is a "really crappy working beta" but there is no denying it has some bugs, like the one addressed in this thread.[quote="Daniel3222" wrote:

The ability is not gone, it's simply moved to the Filters option. The Keyboard Shortcuts however were removed, as previously mentioned this was, and is, an embarrassing mistake that will be addressed.
As we seem to have gotten a bit off topic and I feel I've addressed the OP's concern we can leave this thread here. If anyone would like to begin a thread regarding the Beta testing concerns Daniel has expressed you are more than welcome.0
