It process images at lower resolution than set resolution

i have a problem,
when i process the images with 100% resolution (2296x3456),
the file, when opened in photoshop or in windows preview, appears much smaller (1717x2872),. anyone knows what is happening? how to fix it?

now i'm using process function at 133% but i think this is not good quality.

  Did you make a crop?
  If you did, then simply remove the crop.
  
  Is it a fuji camera?
  If it is, then it is because of the sensor being a hexagonal CCD.

  i checked and i have no crop, my camera is the canon rebel xt 8MP
  
  i tried again setting "delete crop" and is the same.1717x2872
  
  i dont know what's happening
  
  my version is 3.7.3.140 in spanish running in win XP SP2
  anyone else have this problem?
  i will try to change to english version to see what's happening
