Capture one 20 Pro / Mac Os /Canon
Dear Sir,
Shortly after Capture one 20 was released, I upgraded from the 12 Pro version to the 20 Pro version, which costs close to € 200.
On the workstation, the 2019 Imac with Mac Os catalina, Capture one 20 Pro version does not recognize Canon cameras.
When trying the Cap One 12 version in parallel, the Canon camera is recognized.
When you purchase a Canon R6 camera, the Cap 12 version no longer recognizes R6 files.
(previous correspondence: Your request (44718) and Your request (50087))
Is there any hope that this problem will be solved?

Well of course it doesn't - Capture 12 stopped being updated to support new cameras, several software generations ago. Just like every other commercial Raw converter, once a version is updated, ongoing development of old versions stops.

And Capture 20 stopped tethering with Canon cameras. It is a problem.

Did you study the following article:
Did you follow the instructions?
Did you remove the memory card(s) before tethering start / [edit1:]connectiong the camera?
Edit2:
Oh, I'm sure that Phase One / Capture One disagrees with your claim that CO 20 Pro does not recognize / support Canon cameras:

Also in this user-to-user forum people have mentioned that the tethering with Canon cameras works.

I haven't created a new user on my computer. Maybe it would look fun. User A - Phase One. User B - Canon.

Without constructive feedback from your side, nobody can help you:
- It really looks that your problem is related to your setup.
- You just made a comment, which looks like being out of context, concerning my questions.
This is a user-to-user forum. If you liked to get help, it would be reasonable to try to answer the questions from other users...
