Maybe your camera is not supported in C1 for the Tethering.

When you connect the camera does another program start up first and take control of the connection?

@SFA. No, it doesn't. I've tried with another software and it works, so I don't know why it doesn't happen with Capture One.

@Kroontje. I don't know. I'm gonna try further with C1 to see if it helps me. Thx for your answers (also @SFA)!!

Are you trying to connect if for tethered shooting? The D5200 is supported for that. If that is what you are trying to do, you might try again without a memory card in the camera. (It won't write to the computer and the memory card at the same time.)

Or are you trying to connect it to download images from the memory card? That isn't supported.

Thanks Ian!! Yes, I did it for tethered shooting. I'm gonna try to do it again without the memory card. :-)
