    No, it is not an email address.  It is the web address of a form that asks for some information and checks that  needed information exists before allowing you to submit.  Requiring users to fill out such a form one of the frustrations of the modern world.  Companies world wide do this to minimize manpower/maximize productivity.   They don't need to hire people to respond to emails asking for information that some users don't give.

    Also, after submitting a request you might get an email that looks like this:

    ##- Please type your reply above this line -##

    Your request (xxxxx) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.

    To add additional comments, reply to this email.

    At least that's what I get when submitting a report.   The message varies -- sometimes it notes that they are busy and it may take a while to get a response.  Capture One might also email you if they want more data.

  • Oh, I understand completely why they'd use a form, my comment was aimed at the slightly rude "not difficult" above, as it clearly is difficult to find an actual email address for customer service on this website.

    They claim that they're improving customer support though (see this thread). Not much of a success, I take it.

    can't understand what did they change in the program, I own a pro version it it activate an express version ..... so bad !!!

    Strange. You could try reinstalling it (after backing up your data, including preferences, etc.).

    My old Computer had died on me, just got my new MBP M1 and trying to get my app back but thy changed the Capture One Pro (for Sony) and let me use only the express version for 19$ a month with is free of charge for Sony owners

    did try to reinstall the program but the activation key is the issue with them !!!!!

    Yeah, it's a web form. I submitted one but from what I've seen I'm not hopeful my problem will get resolved anytime soon. I'm starting to wonder if I made a mistake switching from Lightroom.

    Now I'm wondering the something.  I'm a Lightroom user that switched over to capture 1, but so far the customer service is a joke.  Not being able to find a valid email address and contact information is not a good sign.  I don't want to read a forum, I want to talk to someone about my issue.  First of all, I'd like to start with changing my name in my profile and apparently that is glitching as well...sigh...

    Have you filed a support request (here)? If not, that's the only way to get in touch with the support department.

    NB: Don't expect a quick reply, it often takes a week or more. And it's a good idea to state your problem/questions very clearly in your initial request, so you don't have to wait for further replies (Have a look at this thread.)
