New Manual for 14.3
Dear all, is there a new manual available for 21.3. I'm an owner of a Capture One Pro 20 but before upgrading, I like to read more about the new version and I have no 2nd PC to install the test version.
Specially I like to know, how I can softproof during editing without the new export dialog? I found no video or article regarding that topic ...
Thank you
regards, Simon

The proofing icon in the top bar opens a list of recipes.
If you switch more often than once in a while then this doubles the clicks and mouse movements, when compared with the process recipes tool. With the old process recipes tool one could also change recipes with the arrow keys.

BeOP.S. I am not aware of an updated manual.

It's a shame that more users are not so diligent - we might see less completely avoidable complaining on here...

You don't need one - Capture One 21 can be installed as a separate instance on the same machine, and not affect Capture One 20 at all.

I previously found https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004180998-Can-I-run-two-Capture-One-versions-on-the-same-computer- before I asked about installing different major versions of Capure One on the same computer. Is it therefore no longer the recommended rule to install only one major version ?

I wouldn't try to run two versions at the same time long-term. But the whole point of the idea of a free trial of a new version being available is that you can try it if you want, and decide not to go ahead with it if you choose not to.
The main thing you'd have to be careful about is upgrading sessions or catalogs to the new version, because you can't downgrade them again. (Capture One does back up the old catalog or session when you upgrade, but of course you could lose any edits made in the new version if you decided to go back. The prudent thing to do would be to copy some images to use as a test batch for the new version.)
