Error" "No more free upgrades available for this license code."

I have a Capture One (for Sony) 20 (perpetual license).  I recently purchased a new computer and deactivated licenses for the old machine.  I installed Capture One and now receive this message after entering my license code. 

 

I ensured to download the Capture One 20 software (not new upgrades) at Capture One 20 (13.0.0) release notes – Capture One

 

I'd appreciate any assistance.

  I have the exact same problem and it's pretty frustrating that I can't contact anybody regarding my problem. I can't understand how I bought this licence and now can't use it on my new MacBook. Can anyone please help me?

  I have the same problem. Registration policy of Capture One is (slightly speaking) "paranoic"! You pay (not a little money) for software and cannot use it! I am closer and closer of looking for another software for RAW, because it isn't the first time when I have problem with installation.

  Just found the following on another capture one page

   

  This error indicates that your perpetual license is for an earlier version of Capture One and cannot activate the newer version you have installed. For instance, a perpetual license for Capture One 12 will not be valid for Capture One 21.
