So far as I know the download required is the same for all users. Functionality availability is controlled by the license key.

Unfortunately that method no longer works since they updated the web sites.
If you download the Trial Version and used the Key provided, it cant be updated later to a DB version, which is free to every P1 DB owner. The Trial version runs 30 days. One has to download C1 and use the Key generated by P1 tied to your DB serial number and register a fresh install of C1 to it.

The question is where to obtain the Key tied to your P1 DB. It's no longer accessed where it used to be.

Since the right answers are not being provided here - and P1 needs to get their support under control. I'll help, I do not work for Phase One and I think it's pitiful that P1 hopes that other users will in essence do their job for them... This is a sympathy reply, nothing more.
LOG IN - C1 user profile _ then _ manage license _in user profile_ access your lic key_ copy paste upon activation_ enter PW and associated email address. Thats it. I have a life, so I wont be sitting at the computer answering standard C1 & P1 user questions. PHASE ONE don't over think it. Prep your releases to support the user questions, and make sure by fact checking the software that your user questions will be minimal. Simple math guys.. This release is nothing short of a disaster, please get it together.
