Support is coming for the GH6 very soon. See here: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/4722081941277-Upcoming-camera-support-in-Capture-One

We try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to letting you know which cameras have upcoming support, but we can never be too specific as we don't want to break promises. I recommend clicking 'follow' on the above linked page to stay up to date.

I hadn't considered this and did a shoot with the GH6 yesterday thinking support for it would be out by the time I got it in the mail. Boy I'm in trouble T.T

Just get a brand new GH6 and I would be able to work with the raw-files in capture one. Please add the Panasonic GH6.

Wish there was a timeline or date range so I could have some hope that I can use it on a shoot sooner than later T.T

No Gh6 support on 15.2.0 makes me sad.

I just noticed that C1 has updated one of their support pages with an estimated date of July for GH6 support:

Come on CAPTURE ONE, time to get on board now (speed up your process prior to July!) with RAW support for the new Lumix GH6 so users of your trial or licensed Software can begin to use it for this new camera purchased in Spring of 2022! Thank you.

Honestly - this is absolutely ridiculous. We need to wait that long for Capture One to allow us to work with raw from the GH6? What is going on (not)? Am a paying customer for years now and feel a bit abandoned.

R5C support was released, so the GH6 support should be pretty close. Hang tight everybody, I'm sure they'll have it out soon. I've been using that god awful Silkypix SE software for now, can't wait to be able to edit my files in C1. I know Adobe is an option but they're lepers to me since they became a software rental company... soon, very soon.

I read now GH6 support comes in AUGUST. Really....?!

Capture One promised Lumix GH6 to be added by July 2022. But, now, as others pointed out, they've slipped this out to August 2022, meaning, don't hold your breath for support on time and as promised. Lousy and sluggish support and I'm disappointed over-all. No plans right now to buy their latest versions with all considered.

    seriously AUGUST!???
What the hell are you doing?
It's not like the manufacturers make the information available before the official release ....
How can Adobe update camera Raw a few weeks after the release and you several 6 months.

Keeping current with new models is absolutely fundamental to having a RAW workflow software that meets professional standards. Not sure why Lumix is getting the cold shoulder. Tethering support is so limited, and now waiting all these months to update support for the GH6. Would be pretty cranky if I was paying a subscription for this.

I love Capture One. I switched from Lightroom for a numerous of reasons but unfortunately was forced to switch back to Lightroom once again. I have been not satisfied of the service with increasing cost and lack of support. Lightroom has it's faults but it does everything i need as an editor and for a really good price - including  desktop, tablet and mobile on the same price friendly plan.

I wish I was on Capture One. As I said i love the software itself. But it just doesn't work out at the end of the day.

And here is the August release - and of course still no GH6 support... I just cannot rely on this company for my work.

Yeah it's a damn shame. I still haven't been able to edit my GH6 photos in C1, and my faith is waning. The delay has been pretty awful.

I've decided not to ever purchase C1 again, even when GH6 support arrives which could be forever.

With all considered, there's been no comments from the company on delays, and obviously, no commitment to honoring promised target dates to update (was July/2022) and include GH6 support.

I'll manage quite well without it. There's other options.

Sorry to say, but, if some (many) of us walk away from giving this SW company our business, maybe it'll help drive some drastically needed logistics and improvements within.

Maybe when the GH7 arrives.... errm ... honestly: Switching where to? Silky is lousy, Affinity produces surrealist graphics and no image, Lightroom I dislike as I am a heavy Adobe allergic since two years. Any tip is welcome.

Still use C1 with my other Lumix'es and my Sigma - but this is really terrible.

Well, on top of this thread page, there is an "official" reply today 8/11/22 as to upcoming GH6 support. The link included in comment now shows GH6 support coming in September.

Hmmm....First it was July, then C1 changed it to August, now only into the second week of August, it now has updated a month out yet again.

Do I see a pattern here?

One thing I can say for Adobe (and other companies), when they announce a date for an upgrade, they stick to it and deliver on time.

Had C1 promised back in June/July a September date for GH6 support, I guess I would have accepted that if it was factual. In reality, C1 has now changed anticipated date for GH6 support 3 times. Who's to say  that come September, oh, sorry about that,....and they'll indeed delay that again?

Poor logistics and false promises! They totally dropped the ball here on GH6 support on time!

I asked for a refund at this point I paid Capture One for having GH6 Raw support. I also open a case with paypal to refund me the money I spent

Yes - a lot of people yammering about buying a camera that isn't supported, as if it was Capture One's fault that they bought the camera.

You can't say you didn't know it wasn't supported...

Very easy solution, works for me every single time: buy your new camera after support has been introduced.

Oh - and take some personal responsibility for your decisions.

The lack of support is no secret - why should Capture One take responsibility for your carelessness or laziness in not checking for support, or testing the software before buying it?

    Entirely your own fault.

Hey Keith R. You're a bit clueless on holding off buying the GH6 until support is there for RAW.  When it first came out in March, I'm one of those early buyers who also got a free 128GB CFexpress Card through Pany's initial promo which expired shortly after that intro. That was about a $125 add on deal. Seems you missed that considering your advise and solution.

As far as your yammer about holding off on buying a GH6 until RAW support is there, your advise and "solution" falls flat on its face for those of us who took advantage of receiving the free card when the GH6 was first introduced.

I'm still using my GH6 more for video so there's no point to wait for RAW support in that regard. GH6 was designed all around more for video than for still photography!

I have my G9 for still photography for the time being which has full RAW support across many SW platforms.
