    Ok, this is great news. One question, I just bought perpetual about 3 weeks ago. Will I need to buy a new license, or is this a beta update for my current release?

    This is great news. Hopefully it is a simple upgrade of software, and not a new purchase for those of us who bought C1 in the last month.

    Christian GThank you for the update. I'd like to understand further:C1 has been unable to get ahold of an A7CR, and an A7Cii worldwide after 2 months?

    I'd fully expect that there are some geometric differences with the new CR body, and those come with new profiles needed for the software. I'm willing to accept this. I'm growing increasingly frust...

    Jon-Not sure how you are even getting the files to be recognized. I'm on Mac, so not sure if that matters. The original files weren't showing up at all.

    I'm currently changing the EXIF data to the 7m4, and that works. It's not ideal, but it allows me to process. While we wait for something...anything from C1.

    I dropped LR&PS to go with Capture One. I was on the fence with DxO PhotoLab software, but they just rolled out support for the Sony A7cR. I may just bite the bullet, and buy the also purchase Pure...

    The radio silence is definitely weird.DxO has some issues with their rollout, but they are engaging in the discussion directly.   Capture One is the most intuitive and powerful software I've worked...

    Update: Newest update for DxO includes support for A7CR as of 11/7/23
