Has there been any improvement in the 4 months since last post? Currently considering upgrading to an M2 Max mbp but if GPU isn’t being utilised I might be better off saving 20% and going M2 Pro or...

Any update on this OP? Did you make the move, and any issues so far? I'm considering a similar setup with either synology ds720 or ds920

@SFA - thanks for explaining. Not the answer I hoped for, but an answer none the less :) Still seems odd to me that this isn't already possible. C1 feels so incredibly powerful, yet this seems like...
