    I don't have this issue, rating works as expected no matter where it is done (viewer, browser, menu, keyboard...). Maybe this issue is related to the Mac OS version used? I use 10.5.1 on a DualCore...

    Uups... Sorry, I meant the Adjustments tool in the settings tabs (where the file browser and the other settings are), not the copy/paste adjustment tool in the tool bar. A bit difficult to describ...

    Go to the adjustments tab (the icon is a square with lines inside) in the tools panel. There you can check and uncheck the settings you want to apply to other images.Regards,Maren
