I'd rather speculate that PO is going the 80% approach recommended by Apple. Whether that is advisable in a pro/prosumer market, only future sales figures can tell.

Thanks for your reply. If you consider this information a trade secret, I'm fine with that.Unfortunately I can't upgrade to 10.10 or 10.11, so I am unable to test CO9.

I didnt mean to be offensive. Just wondered whether the 10.10 requirement is because development was done on a 10.10 machine, or because of a dependency on OS X features that didn't exist in 10.9. ...
