Have done a Firmware update to 1.1.4 on Canon 1DS Mk3 and I think it solved the problem.Have filled buffer aggressively with over 200 Captures and no crash so far.Didn't work that well before.Let's...

autorotate switched off, still looking for button to permanently change image rotation.Under 3.7 it was under Camera > Setting . . .> Capture orientation > landscape -180degrees . ....
