It happens to me as wel with C1 6.2. I whish it was more conservative.

Yes, I just wish the colors were corrected straight at the opening or at least after automatic adjustment.To boost greens saturation every time is quite annoying.

I found this topic searching on Google. I'm in the same situation, but with Windows version. DNGs v4.6 work, but I'll never convert thousand of photos to an older version. I'll ask to support.

Thanks. I gave EIP a try and it seems to just pack files without any compression. Btw I think you're right enough in regards of data safety, so leaving the file as they are is the best thing.
