First of all, thank you for taking the time to report an issue or unexpected behaviour in Capture One.
We understand how frustrating even small bugs can be when they interrupt your workflow. By reporting what you experience, you help us identify, reproduce, and fix issues more effectively for everyone using Capture One.
How do I report a bug?
Bugs are reported through our dedicated bug report form.
To make sure we can correctly receive and process your report, please complete all required fields in the form and include the requested information.
This typically includes:
- Log files
- Screen recordings or screenshots
- System information
Providing this material is essential. It allows us to understand your setup and see exactly what is happening when the issue occurs.
Why do you need all this information?
Collecting the required information can take a little time (usually around 10–15 minutes), but it ensures that:
- Your report contains everything our teams need from the start
- We can begin reproducing the issue immediately
- There is minimal need to follow up with additional questions
A complete report helps us move faster and increases the chances that the issue can be fixed in a future release.
What happens after I submit a report?
Once submitted:
- Your report is reviewed and verified by a Technical Support agent
- It is then forwarded to our QA and testing teams together with all provided information
- If the issue can be reproduced, it is logged and investigated by our development team
If we are unable to reproduce the behaviour or need clarification, our Support team may contact you to request additional details.
When will my bug be fixed?
We’re not able to provide a specific timeline for bug fixes.
Development priorities can change, and we want to avoid promising dates we cannot guarantee. That said, once a fix is implemented and included in a release, we will let you know.
If your reported bug is resolved, you will receive a notification by email in response to your original report, closer to the release date.
Good to know
Reporting bugs with clear steps, logs, and visuals makes a real difference. Your input directly contributes to improving Capture One for the entire community.
Thank you for helping us make Capture One better.
