Grouping in Cull View not Working in New Update?

I installed the last couple of updates and have been having trouble getting groups to work. I go into full view with my raws the same way I have done. When grouping is checked all the images are added to a one-image group for each image and don't group at all. I have tried multiple different threshold settings on the slider, I have reset the tool and tried it. I have reviewed all my preference settings and nothing seems to be working. When grouping is checked on, the orange progress bar that's normally there doesn't show up. I don't think I ran into this issue until Version 16.1.1. I hope the team sees this! Thanks!
