Images show heavily overexposed in the viewer

When re-opening sessions that are made one day before and which are exposed in the right way, the next day when opening these same sessions ALL images show HEAVILY OVEREXPOSED !! The browser is showing the right images, also the right images are exported, but the viewer shows HEAVY overexposure !! What is this ???

    Without example images (with Exif), it's not obvious what insight you expect fellow users to provide...

    Can you show us any adjustments that have been made to this image? What happens if you regenerate the preview? If you reset the image using the button on the tool bar, or by creating a new variant, what happens?
