Pixelated Live View at 100%

Can anyone explain what the reason and the fix is for Live View being pixelated at 100%?

I have submitted a ticket to Support but thought I'd ask here too.

I'm using a Canon R5, C1 15.4.3 and MacBook Pro running Ventura. I've used this camera with Live View before but not for a while so it seems that some combination of software, firmware and/or the OS has nerfed Live View.

Comments and assistance would be most welcome and appreciated.

  Hello
  Got the same problem and when I changed the setting in the R5 for the screen display (yellow icon, menu 3) for AUTO02 and I removed the eyes follow focus to a normal focus point, it was working again

  This has been an issue that I have been trying to solve for over a month. The solution makes perfect sense since zoom isn't available on the camera when Eye Auto Focus is enabled, but until you told me about what you did to solve the problem it never occurred to me.

  This is something that C1 support should really be aware of and typically the support I've received has been just short of woeful.
