Please fix the import selection bug

What problem do you see this solving?
If I import multiple times from my card in a session without closing capture one, the images I had last time selected for import are selected the next time I insert my card for import.
Lates version of Mac OS, M1 Max 32gb, 4tb. Latest version of capture one.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
All the time.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I check pick all then uncheck pick all after which I select the new images I want to import.

I have the exact same issue,
Using the latest version of Capture pro 23 for Windows.
So annoying accidently opening all previously select photos even from a session a few days earlier,,, even though they are not selected this session,,,
As stated the only way to not have this happen is to select, then deselect "import all" before selecting your pics.
This has been a bug in latest and previous version of 23 pro.
Surely this can be fixed post haste please.

I know. They told me that it was designed this way. But didn't told me what purpose it serves.

Agreed. This caught me out, it is most illogical.

It still catches me out, months later. It is such a silly functionality.
