COne Crashes
Hi everyone, I have been a capture one user since 2019 and I did not encounter any problems until last night. The incident occurred after opening a corrupt catalog. The program no longer opens. When launching the application, the main windows opens but closes immediately. I can neither access any of my catalogs nor create a new catalog or a new session. I uninstalled then reinstalled the program, restarted the computer but it no longer works. I use the latest version of Capture One 23 and Windows 11. Any suggestion on how I can fix the issue? Thank you for your assistance.

I have the same problem. I've been using C1 since 2015 without any problems. Then, about a month ago, it stopped opening files. I reinstalled more than 10 times. Occasionally it will work for an hour or so, and then it commits suicide. There is something seriously wrong with C1, possibly related to Windows 11.

Hi Andrew, I fixed the issue by desintalling the software AND deleting all systems files related to CO, desactivating my license, then reloaded a fresh version and reactivating my license. Now it works. Simply desinstalling and then reinstalling the software was not sufficient because some systems files remain on your hard drive. Hope this helps.
