What problem do you see this solving?
Currently when you crop an image you have an option for the viewer: either see the original image with the cropped out parts darkened out, or see only the cropped portion. There is no similar options for thumbnails, which are rendered always in full with the cropped out parts darkened.
This is a problem because, if you work with relatively small thumbnails, contents in photos that are heavily cropped cannot be easily quickly spotted and recognized.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Always and this affects a good 20% of my photos.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
The workaround is to select the involved thumbnails and let the related photos appear in the viewer, but this slows down the management process.
