    Hi everyone,
Thank you for the suggestion - this is not something we are currently working on.

This does not mean this is a bad suggestion or that it will never be adressed, but in an effort of transparency we want you to know that we are not currently allocating resources to solving this issue.

We will revisit the status of this thread if and when it changes.

I would love also this option !!!!

This would be very useful also when checking the consistency of several photos (example: horizon alignment - after cropping) within the browser.

I wouldn't want this, unless it was an option I could turn off.

One of the reasons is that I like to be able to see at a glance whether an image has been cropped or not.

I would be very keen on this as a feature also!

For me, this option is useful for showing more than 12 images on the screen. If we could get an option to show more images in the viewer, the browser showing crops wouldn't be an issue with me.

Count me in for implementing this feature as a toggle on or off, depending on your preference.

Would love to have this option!

That this feature is missing is one of the really significant drawbacks of C1. Being able to view the cropped thumbnail only would noticeably increase productivity.

Yes please! i use this thumb view to sequence shots for art projects and its very hard to visualize without the crop applied.

I think what you all mean is you want the option for cropped image thumbnails to fill the thumbnail cell in the browser vs darkening the cropped area. Right?

    Correct.

Correct, Walter.  I would propose two changes....

    1. a toggle at the top of the thumbnail window to A: show the entire thumbnail frame OR B: show the cropped version.

    2. Separate the opacity setting for the crop on the preview window and the crop on the thumbnail. it can be hard to see the crops on the thumbnails when the crop tool opacity is set to a low number (see the third image below)

    Sorry for terrible photos..

    Simulation of cropped thumbnails...

High opacity setting, easy to see the thumbnails, but not ideal for working on cropping the photo...

Low opacity setting is easier to work with, but it's hard to see the crop on the thumbnails...

Like everyone else here is asking...

How popular this idea is, I don't know. Most of the contributions to threads about this are from users who'd prefer it. I have to say I wouldn't, so if they do bring this in I hope it's an option only.
