Any way to see the effect of output sharpening when printing within C!?
I like to print directly from the print dialog in C1 23. This bypasses the excellent output sharpening tools available when exporting files. There is a slider for print sharpening in the print dialog box (Canon Pro 1000) but it is impossible to judge its effect before printing.
In the export recipes we are advised to zoom to 100% to evaluate the print sharpening effect. Can you make this functionality available to those of us who print straight out of the C1 print engine instead of exporting first?
Currently I waste too much paper and ink testing print sharpening because of the inability to proof it in the print window. Why is it so good in the export workflow and so limited in the C1 printing workflow?
I would be glad to discuss it with anyone from C1.
