Mac Mini & Mac Studio

I’m about to upgrade my 2015 iMac 27” which has developed some flaky HW issues.

My choices seem to be a Mac Mini with an M2 CPU or a Mac Studio with an M1 CPU.

I am looking for some feedback on how CO23 works with the Mac Studio (last year’s reports indicated that CO22 could be pretty slow on this configuration), also is anyone using CO23 with a machine with M2 CPU (preferably a mini with M2 CPU).

I’m aware of CaptureOne’s affinity for GPU capacity, both number cores and RAM, and their slowness in optimizing for Mac HW.

With the Mac Mini M2 I would choose to max out the unified memory and the GPU count.(M2 Pro with 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU and 32GB of unified RAM)

With the Mac studio I can’t afford the max configuration, I would choose  the base model (M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 24-core GPU and 32GB of unified RAM)

    I’ve just heard from 3 people on the CaptureOne Technical Forum that the Mac Studio base model works very well with CO22 and CO23.
