Images imported that were captured after June 2022 will not open

I can import and view images from a drive or an SD card that were captured prior to June 2022,but any captured after that date are imported but will not open.  I'm not sure if this began with an upgrade to version 23 or if it began more recently, but only discovered it yesterday.Ive tried going back to default settings, I've tried different catalogs, and different import settings, but nothing helps.  Wondering if I should re-install C1.
