What is the Folder _Archived Items in the database package?

My database package contains 4 folders, Adjustments, Cache, Originals and _Archived Items. My question relates to the need for the _Archived Items folder:

The _Archived Items folder contains 3 subfolders, Adjustments, Cache and Originals, all for the year 2021. The Adjustments folder has one item, a .comask. The Originals folder contains 3 subfolders with 19 originals for three days in June, 2021 (these take up 1 GB and do not correspond to image files seen elsewhere in the database). The Cache folder contains a Thumbnails folder with 19 thumbnails and a Previews folder with subfolders for the same three days in June as the Originals folder. 

I have been using Capture One since 2015 and the only files in the archive are from June, 2021. So, where did these archived folders from June of 2021 come from, why were they created, do they have a function and can they be deleted?
