no link between Capture one library and Mac OS finder
What problem do you see this solving?
When deleting a photo in capture one library that is deleting the photo in Mac OS finder, but if I delete a file from capture one, even if it, s empty, that is not deleting the file in the Mac OS finder. I've got to delete it twice : once in the capture one library and then in the Mac OS finder.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
That was always like that since I use capture one
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I've got to delete the file manually in the OS finder after deleting it in Capture one library
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
Yes

Hey Herve Barthelemy!
This is expected behaviour, please review this article on Deleting images and variants immediately.
And I'm moving this to the "Capture One 23 (16.x) for Mac" topic since this is not a feature request.

Hi. Thank but that is not my trouble. As I wrote, for a photo or ilage it’s ok. But that doesn’t work for a file. If you right clic on a file (even if it’s empty) in capture one library and choose « delete file » it’s deleted from the capt one library but not from the OS finder. I speak about a file you created in capt one to stock images.

Can you explain what you mean by non-image file? You should be able to import images and some video files.
