Upgrading from C1 21, to a trial licence, to C1 23

I had C1 21 perpetual licence and decided I needed to upgrade to C1 23 but I wanted to try the trial licence first.  All photos transferred across. I have now bought the C1 23 and I need to deactivate the trial licence and activate the C1 23.  Will I lose the files and photos when I deactivate the trial licence and activate the new perpetual license? Will they carry over from the trial version or do I need to make sure I have the photos backed up and then upload them to the new C1 23?

    You won't lose any work at all. Just deactivate the trial licence, close Capture One, then re-open it and enter your licence code when prompted.
