Reset all adjustments except ONE
What problem do you see this solving?
Adding the ability to reset all adjustments except one - for example Crop, or white balance.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Recently this topic surfaced in one of the Capture One chats about possibility to reset all adjustments except one, for example keeping the crop, or color or exposure
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
And we could not find a quick and easy solution except recoding a macros or writing an AppleScript, while this could be really implemented with a simple hotkey.
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
yes
HOW CAN IT BE ACHIEVED?
Currently Capture One uses modifiers in tabs for copying/applying settings and resetting, such as:
for Copy/Apply:
Option+Click to suppress dialog
Shift+Click to apply setting immediately
for Reset Adjustments:
Option+Click to temporary reset adjustment
Cmd+Click to reset only current tab (for color adjustment tools)
My suggestions would be to use a hot key modifier with the reset button on a tab or RESET ADJUSTMENT button in main tool tab.
For example:
Shift+Click on a reset button (in any adjustment tab) will reset everything else but this tab
While something like Shift+Cmd+Click will show a dialog allowing user see a list of adjustments that are going to be reset and tick the necessary boxes, similar to Adjustment Clipboard.
