New MacBook M2, but am being told Capture One needs to be quit as memory is full, after only 50 tethered images shot.
am shooting tethered to my new MacBook Pro M2. I have only snapped 50 or so images, and have the message appear saying I am out of memory, and need to quit Capture One as an application. How can I allocate more storage to Capture One?

Happening to me but not as frequently. Def an issue, maybe with M2

Hmmm. How long have you been using the M2? This was my first shoot with it. Does it only happen intermittently? Thank you.

Hello Tim Winter
You should peruse this thread concerning the memory leak issue:
There have been numerous other threads as well but this is the most up to date one.
Unfortunately it's been an ongoing issue for some 3 months now to numerous people and isn't isolated to certain OS's, machines or different CO 23 versions. Previous CO versions, 21-22 seem to be ok. For what ever reason CO support seems like they can't isolate the issue and have no idea what's causing it. I'm just basing this off the 3 month time frame this has been going on for and them saying they have made improvements with 16.2 and yet from the comments seems like it's only getting worse.
Hopefully they are treating this as the existential threat that I feel it is to CO. As a working professional it is absolutely unusable in it's present state. I've had to go back to CO 22 as the only viable work around.

Thank you Andrew.I have tried to install CO 22 without any joy (it hasn't previously been installed on the new macBook.) I just get the wheel of doom from Apple. Am going to have to use the old MacBook until such time as this is resolved, maling the "upgrade" pointless for the time being.
Are you able to suggest a way to successfully install CO22, or even 21 to the new Mac?
Best.

Hey Tim
You should be able to install and run CO 22 on your M2 so not sure why you are having an issue. The last version of 22 supported Ventura albeit not as up-to date a version as your new M2 would have but I believe it would run it. My M1 does no problem. I would open a support case with CO support and let them know your issue. I would also mention why you are having to revert back to CO22. Hopefully the more people that let them know it's an issue the more resources they will put towards getting it fixed.
Good luck
