Lack of masks affecting edits badly
What problem do you see this solving?
Mostly, while shooting landscapes, I need to bring down the highlights/brighness etc. of the skies much more than the highlights on the terrain. So when I used to work with CO Pro on the laptop, I could add masks and control the amount of highlights/brightness on each part of the picture. Now that I have moved completely on to my iPad Pro, this is a feature that I miss very much— and it is affecting my edit flow significantly.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Last week, after a tourism shoot, I struggled with the images because of the lack of masks.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Yes. Currently, I am forced to use Lightroom on iPad to make the adjustments after I have done the work on Capture one.
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
Yes.
