My Sony Alpha 1 dont show up in Capture One Pro 23 (wired Tethering)
Hello everyone,
I have a Sony Alpha 1 (Firmware 1.32) and Capture One Pro 23. I have read countless tutorials about the tethering function and tried out all sorts of tips and tricks.
When I connect my camera to the computer via USB (USB-C to USB-C, Tethertools cable), the camera is not recognized in Capture One. However, it is recognized in Sony's Image Edge software.
Interestingly, when I switch to the WiFi-Direct mode and connect to the camera's WLAN network with the computer, the camera immediately appears in Capture One.
I'm at my wit's end. Why isn't my camera recognized via USB-C?
Thank you for your help.

I don't use tethering myself, so my knowledge of what is needed is rather second hand. But I seem to remember that there was one brand (I can't remember whether it was Sony or Canon) where the manufacturer's software disrupted Capture One's tethering, Have you tried (1) making sure the Sony Image Edge software is not running, or even (2) uninstalling Image Edge?
