Desktop finds camera but laptop doesn't
Hello all,
I'm on day 7 of learning/using Capture One and have come a long way since I purchased it a week ago. My question pertains to wired tethering...
I've had no problem tethering and shooting into sessions on my Dell desktop (my main editing computer), but then when I hooked my camera up to my Dell laptop, no such luck. No matter what cable or USB port I use, Capture One on the Dell laptop is telling me "no camera available". I know it's not an issue with the camera settings, since it works fine on the desktop. Then, as a further test, I installed Capture One on an HP laptop and hooked up the same camera, and voila, it works fine.
Interestingly, Sony Imaging Edge tethers just fine on the laptop, but not Capture One.
So... I'm curious. Why won't C1 tether work on the Dell laptop when it works fine on my Dell desktop and my HP laptop? Is there a setting in the laptop I need to change?
Camera is Sony A7IV if that matters.

Well, it looks like I solved my own problem, lol.
On a hunch, I uninstalled Imaging Edge just to see if maybe there was a conflict, and sure enough, C! is now finding my camera. So, I guess the bottom line is Imaging Edge and Capture One can't live in the same house!
