Improve automated color cast

What problem do you see this solving?
The automated color cast works not very well. I have thousands for digitized old dias and for almost all color cast removing is required. Now I am using Capture One for free hand rotating (very good feature) and paint.net 5.0.6 for fully automated color cast removing, it works extraordinary well. 

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
