    I'm running C1-23 on a 2020 MacBook Air M1 with 8Gb RAM.

My photos are approx 50Mb RAW files and I'm storing them on an external hard-drive.

Previews can be a little sluggish when first importing the files, though this is not helped by my rather slow external hard-drive. I only perform basic editing on my photos, exposure, contrast and cropping, so I am not sure how it will handle extensive use of masks, layers etc.

My advice would be to try the free demo for a while to make sure it is suitable for your purposes.

Thanks for taking the time to reply LVS.  Yes - I downloaded the copy of C1 23 and it seems to be working OK at the moment.  The crunch will be I have another wedding in two weeks, so this will be the acid test.  I must say it is much better than my C1 21.  I can now batch them as I download them and can even adjust the percentage of how strongly they will be alike.  The big one I love is you can have an intelligent preset that will go through all the selected images and apply a similar look whilst keeping all the layers.  This will save me so much time.  Philip
