Importing or transferring custom workflow tool tabs

What problem do you see this solving?

Hi, I create and use a custom workflow "tool tab" in C1 and there doesn't seem to be a way to save or import a custom workflow tab independently of a custom workspace. It can only be saved within a full custom workspace. 

My problem is that, every time there is a major C1 update, and or, new tools are added to C1, a custom workspace may become obsolete, but my custom workflow tool tab - "does not". Is there a way to save or transfer custom workflow tabs between versions of C1 without having to recreate them with every C1 update? 

For more context, and for example, the Cull tool, or Cull view, has been added to C1 since the first release of C1 23. This means that the new Cull tool does not show up in my C1 23 custom workspace. Making that custom workspace obsolete. Fair enough. That makes sense. But why do I need to recreate my entire custom workflow tool tab every time a "workspace" becomes obsolete. 

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Now, and this has become a significant annoyance over the past 11 years. 

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
No. With each major update, I must choose the latest Default Workspace and then recreate any and all custom workflow tool tabs and then save them as a new Workspace.
