Touchscreen Gaming Laptop Compatibility Issue with Capture One 22.x Software
Hi Everyone
I wanted to share an issue I've been experiencing with my touchscreen gaming laptop and the latest version of Capture One software (specifically, version 22.x). I hope someone here can offer some insights or potential solutions.
Recently, I upgraded to Capture One 22.x, excited to explore the new features and enhancements it had to offer. However, upon launching the software on my touchscreen gaming laptop, I noticed that the touchscreen functionality was not working as expected.
Normally, on my laptop, I can interact with various applications using touch gestures, such as zooming in and out or scrolling through images with a swipe. However, within Capture One 22.x, the touch gestures are either unresponsive or produce unexpected results. This has significantly hindered my workflow, making it difficult to navigate through images and perform other touch-related actions efficiently.
I have confirmed that the touchscreen functionality is working fine with other applications and programs on my laptop, ruling out any hardware issues. Additionally, I have also tried reinstalling Capture One 22.x, updating my graphics drivers, and searching for any relevant settings within the software, but the issue persists.
Considering the popularity of gaming laptops with touchscreen capabilities, I assume I'm not the only one facing this problem. Hence, I wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue or found a workaround.
If you have experienced or resolved this problem, I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions you can offer. Perhaps there are specific settings I need to adjust or a compatibility workaround that can help restore the touch functionality within Capture One 22.x.
Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to your valuable input!
