What are "pending mask changes"? and why can't I delete the layer?
I had a problem and a message I'd never seen before. Quoting and restarting fixed the problem but left me curious. I was having a problem where C1 lost the ability to Undo (Cmd-Z). I figured a quit and restart would most likely fix it. When I hit Cmd-Q I got the message "Image (name of an image) has pending mask changes on layer "Adjustment layer 1". Closing the document before masks have been processed completely can lead to mask changes not being saved." This was not the image I was working on, but when I went to that image it had a layer and the delete button was grayed out. I could not find a way to affect or delete the layer. As I said a quit and restart fixed this and returned my ability to Undo, but still concerning. Any ideas on what happened and how to avoid it happening again?

Hello Daniel, no replies, so maybe rare. Tdhe problem has not recurred for me so I haven't given it thought. If it has happened to you more than once maybe report it? I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro.

Hi.
Same problem and I figured that only way to solve this is copy layer and destroy orginal one. That helps and you don't lose adjustments.
