IMAGE DISAPPEARS WHEN A LAYER IS ADDED

What problem do you see this solving?
I have made a video clip to show the problem.

I changed my brand to Nikon and have been using their software for some time (free of charge!) since the purchase of my Nikon Z7ii.

Hawever, I have just returned to Capture One because it is probably the best for working with raw.

My problem

When I observe the image in the background layer, I can see it OK.

However, when I add a layer, the image, although still present is not visible anymore. I have tried this with all four layer types. ALL have the same problem.

As stated, I have made a video with my iPhone to shoe you exactly what the problem is.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Discovered this today, the first time using CO after my break.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

    When an image disappears after adding a layer, there are a few potential reasons and solutions you can consider:

    1. Layer Placement:

      • Check the layer order: Ensure that the new layer is not placed above the image layer. Layers are stacked, and the topmost layer may cover the layers below. You can adjust the layer order in your graphics software to make sure the image layer is on top.

    2. Layer Visibility:

      • Layer visibility settings: Make sure the visibility icon (usually an eye symbol) for the image layer is turned on. Sometimes, accidentally toggling layer visibility can lead to the image tris de hoy disappearing.

    3. Layer Opacity:

      • Layer opacity: Check the opacity of the new layer. If the opacity is set to 0%, it will make the layer completely transparent, causing the underlying layers, including the image, to be hidden.
