Perhaps you could elaborate on the problem a bit more?

When I try to export a file using an export recipe, I sometimes get a message telling me the designated output folder does not exist, even though it does, and Capture One has successfully exported to it before.

Where is the output folder located? Internal disk or external disk?

Have you checked the full path to the folder (i.e. not just the name from a "previously used" list)

It is on an internal drive and, yes, the path is correct. It is finally recognizing the folder, but now it is exporting a TIFF and a JPEG, whereas I am only asking for a TIFF (all parameters correctly filled out, only one recipe selected). I have noticed the latter behaviour before. Anyhow, I expect it will again stop recognizing the folder at some point, and I can't afford to lose time over it, as I am trying to produce inventory for a show.

    Janis,

Does your Export Queue have any previous (failed) entries in it, perhaps in anticipation of reprocessing?

It might be worth clearing the Queue and retrying.

Bear in mind that "previously recently used" Output Locations can co-exist with the same apparent "name" but point to entirely different places within the system. There is substantial potential for confusion here that is the result of offering a very powerful export location distribution concept with, shall we say, a "compact" insight into what is actually happening.

    I had this problem too.

I just solved it by clicking the dots at the top bar of the location tool and then clicked, "Reset Tool." And it worked fine after that. You could also try restarting CaptureOne as well and then Reset Tool.

CaptureOne just didn't recognize the folder, even after deleted the empty folder and created a new one, even in a new location.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, I forget just how the issue was resolved, but I will keep your tip in mind for next time
