Why does my One Capture keep changing my colors?

I was shooting today and when I came back and imported my pictures, the colors were way off. Example I'm using a b&w film simulation, but when I click it, it becomes a colored image and its not the same as the preview. Note Im using a Fujifilm XT1 shooting RAW

    What are you clicking and where within Capture One are you clicking that causes the image to change from black and white to color?

    Check the Base Characteristics tool to see whether your film simulation is applied under "Curve" dropdown menu.

    when I click my raw file right, and let's say my raw is in b&w, it will become colored. and in the base characteristics curves it just says auto. I never had this issue before and now it's popping up not only in capture one, but also photoshop and darkroom on my ipad.

    If it says "Auto" then it will be using the film simulation that you used in camera. Are you able to browse other film simulations within the Curve dropdown?

    Do you also have a screen recording that we can look at? Sounds like something that needs to be seen to be fully understood. 

    The fact it's happening with other applications is even more of a head scratcher, but also points to an issue potentially outside of Capture One's control.

    i have been trying to fix this issue for 10 days, i have read forums and nothing seems to be working
