HELP PLEASE
IM Frustrated new user... will probably move to LR. I've downloaded my Capture one catalog to my newly formatted SSD but have been unable to open it on the SSD drive.. Message keeps popping up that I don't have License code for that version. ( I had earlier versions years ago) but I deactivated and reactivated with my current code. I still can not open up the back up files.. does it have to be this hard?

How I would expect it to work is
- launch your new version of Capture One.
- go to File>Open and navigate to your catalog on the SSD, and select it.
- Capture One should tell you that the catalog was created with an earlier version of Capture One and needs to be updated. Let Capture One update it - it will create a backup in old format,
(Though when you say that it was years ago - how many? Which version of Capture One? Maybe if it's REALLY old it can't do that?)

Thanks so much Ian. I was able to go in and upgrade my version of Capture one to the current version I have capture one 23 I can now open my catalog within my SsD drive. So relieved. Again thanks
