Adding new scripting capabitilies

What problem do you see this solving?
I'd like to be able to automate copy and apply of layers using scripting (AppleScript or JXA). I know how to create an empty layer but I cannot copy a layer from one variant into another.

I'd like to be able to access the content of the adjustments clipboard. To be able to apply only part of it to a variant (apply only layers or all but layers).

I'd like to be able to handle more event like:

CO_AdjustmentsApplyied

CO_VariantChanged

CO_DocumentActivated

CO_ProcessDone

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
On a daily basis

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
No. I need to do this manually.
