Comment on images and integration with Photoshop
What problem do you see this solving?
I want to be able to write a comment to an image in Capture One and then export that comment together with the image, either as a PSD layer like the annotations and overlays or as a separate .txt file in the output folder.
This is especially important for my workflow when working with a external retoucher. So when I am at the shoot me or my assistant can write down notes/comments to the images while we shoot them, so we are sure to meet our clients needs and comments.
Workflow wise i am now writing notes in a sheet and have to copy-paste the filename everytime + I have to send that sheet to the retoucher.
It would be a lot easier to keep it all in Capture One, so the comment is "locked" to the images or at least when I EIP the images. Furthermore, I would like to have these comments in either a separate PSD layer or as a separate .txt file.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
My workflow would be a lot easier and less time consuming by adding this feature. I have also search in the forum and talked to other photographers about this issue. And still no change in the last 7 years...
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I am using a separate sheet to write down the image name and comments.
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
