Culling problems

Culling is not creating groups for me. All images are considered distinct no matter the similarity setting

(Win 11/x64, Sony PRO RAW,  Ryzen 7 3700X, (RADEON 5700 XT)

    Latest release has fixed this issue for me.   THX

    ****  See later comments **** 16.2.5 will group under certain conditions.

    Still not fixed for me with version 16.2.5.1588 on windows 10 x64.

     

    Edit: Under preferences, it says that hardware acceleration does not work. Is a GPU required for harware acceleration?

    And is hardware acceleration required for the grouping feature?

    Discovered the following with 16.2.5 and Win 11 x64

    Culling works IF hardware acceleration is turned OFF (Ryzen 7 3700X)  If turned on then it will not work.

    Also, Win 10/x64  16.2.5  (old laptop,  Ryzen 7 PRO 2700U, with AMD Mobile Vega GFx) Grouping will WORK with hardware acceleration turned ON or OFF.

    My CONCLUSION:  Grouping only works with certain CPU/GPU combinations.

    Had the same problem with my GTX 1650.

    Updated the Nvidia driver to latest solved the problem.
