Dev feedback, beware strict refund policy
Updated review 1/2024: After testing, purchasing, leaving for Adobe, then crawling back to C1 for their superior Sony tethering and client proofing, I am finally learning to love C1.
C1 is great but I have feedback for the development team that would make it so much better for users like myself:
-please create a mobile Android option (not everyone owns an iPhone)
-culling / select tagging is extremely awkward and slow to use in comparison with Lightroom
-Lightroom's use of AI masking for specific things like hair, eyes, clothes etc is so much faster (albeit less technical and customizable). An improvement in this area would be significant for me as a portrait/headshot photographer. I realize there are probably ways to do this myself but that sounds time consuming. If the devs create an update to the masks I would be able to abandon Adobe all together.
Old review:
While I was initially optimistic, I found this software only useful for live tethering in my workflow. I contacted customer service to ask for a partial refund since their software doesn't work as promised and was firmly told there are no exceptions once a license has been activated.
Complete waste of $160 USD unfortunately. Cannot recommend, sadly.

This is why they offer a 30-day free trial!
No mobile Android feature was ever offered.
The other issues are probably ones that can be sorted out if you want to provide more details in posts here, or to contact Support.

Hi Ian. I'm aware there has never been an Android option available. I listed this because it's a downside for my workflow and considering the high level of engineering being advertised at this price range, I believe it's worth mentioning so it can be included in the future.
The other issues have been researched on my end already without any clear resolution.

Hi Marielle,
What exact user presets do you mean?
What was "promised" which isn't fulfilled?
