Add Blur tool to work in a selection and in the gradiënt tool

blurring the background in a portrait is the simpelst example .It would be even better if as in Lightroom it can be linked to a distance from the plane of focusfrom the plane of focus to create depth.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? for very little blur minimizing the clarity tool . The only effective way is to open the image in Photoshop o Lightroom.
