    Thanks for sharing.

Does Microsoft Edge browser spy even if you don't use it and don't run applications like C1?

It wasn't a complaint.  It was a PSA for others who may run into a similar crash.

I'm running GrapheneOS on my Pixel 6 which gives me much greater control over spyware that is Google.

The fact that Edge is baked into Windows to such an extent is the corruption, not me uninstalling that garbage browser.

I already submitted this as a bug with crash logs and work-around.  I don't expect anything will be done about this since it's such an edge case (pun totally intended).  The only one complaining in this thread seems to be you, Petr.

To me it sounds like first you forcefully removed all Edge related stuff (which includes EdgeWebView) and now undid part of this by re-installing the Edge WebView2 runtime.
WebView2 runtime is seen as an OS component. It's used for 'native' web rendering within the OS but also in .NET applications that expect it to be available natively in Win 11. Re: The 'spyware' behaviour, you can configure this via the Windows diagnostic settings
