Copying and duplicating albums, smart albums, projects, and groups

What problem do you see this solving?
Albums, smart albums, projects, and groups are an essential part of the workflow and not being able to copy or duplicate them (including any nested structure) slows the workflow and adds some onerously mundane - i.e., non-creative tasks - to both the workflow and the process of creating a portfolio. Essentially, having the functionality of right clicking into an album, smart album, project, or group to create a duplicate will be a great workflow improvement easy to implement.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Essentially today, 28 October 2023, as I started a catalogue reorganisation and workflow tuning.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I am not using any workarounds, the only one I can think of is writing a script.

    you can do this- sort of...

     

    make a smart album. in the edit window on the top right side it says preset. save it. make a new smart album and chose it under this preset pop up...
