C1 16.3 crashes Mac OS 14.1
-
I even removed C1 from my iMac and deleted the .com.captureone files and folders that C1 recommends on how to properly remove C1 from Mac OS system. I then installed new C1 16.3 version and same thing where it crashes my iMac. it sucks because I need to work on files that need to get to client.

VaL Pavel, taking this through tech support likely won't be a today thing.
Do you still have the previous version installed on your computer? It'll show up in Applications as Capture One 23? If so, use it until support is able to help you out. If not, you can download previous versions of Capture One 23 by opening your account at captureone.com. Select the Download Capture One button. Scroll down a bit and you'll see a Previous Versions section. Download 16.2.5.

Thanks Brian Jordan. I will try downloading an older version of C1 to see if it will let me get by until the bug is resolved.

Hello VoL, Did the 16.2.5 work with MacOS 14.1? How did you solve this issue?

Hi Tarunn,
I completely deleted C1. Removed all that C1 recommends. I installed the 16.2.5 version of C1. I had to create a new catalog for files I had for client to get me by until Apple comes up with a fix. For some old reason the catalogs I had opened with the new C1 16.3 got updated or something so they didn't want to open because of what ever came in the new 16.3. I was recommended by customer support to verify the catalogs I need to use and also regenerate previews. I also need to move the image files back to desktop instead of hard drive where I currently have them at now. Hopefully this helps you out Tarunn.
